Georgia Real Estate Licensee Statistics 2022
According to the October 27, 2022 GREC database of Active Individual Licensees (no firms or schools), there are:
- Qualify Brokers: 10,270
- Brokers: 1,582
- Assoc. Brokers: 9,970
- CAM: 505
- Salespersons: 65,269
TOTAL Active Licensees: 87,596
There are 21,822 real estate licensees that have an active GA Broker license (24.9% of all active individual licensees). There are approximately 75,239 licensees (Associate brokers + Salespersons) engaged in sales activities.
There are 15,818 INACTIVE real estate licensees. Out of that inactive list, there are:
- Inactive Brokers: 2,662
- Inactive CAM: 185
- Inactive Salespersons: 12,971
TOTAL Inactive Licensees: 15,818
November 2022 Update
According to the November 2022 issue of the GREC Newsletter, there are 113,430 Georgia real estate licenses with 86% active and 14% inactive. Calculating that out, there are approximately 97,070 active licensees.
However, 12% (roughly 11,648) are real estate firms which generally don’t counts towards individuals.
This means that roughly 85,422 individuals (brokers, salespersons, CAM) have active licenses. Of that, 20% (17,084) have broker licenses.
April 2022 Update
According to the April 2022 issue of the GREC Newsletter, there are 81,371 active licensees (of which 23% are have a broker license). That is approximately 18,715 broker licensees and 62,656 for all other licensees.
As of April 2022, there are 11,434 active firms. The total number of active licensees is 92,805.
There are 15,862 inactive licensees and firms.
As of April 2022, the total of all GA real estate licensees is 108,667.
According to the GREC 2021 Annual Report, as of January 1, 2022, there were 107,209 real estate licensees in Georgia.
