Intrepid Real Estate Education (School Code #8078) is a real estate school approved and licensed by the Georgia Real Estate Commission. As such, there are strict rules and regulations our school must follow. We require all students to follow when attending one of our courses.
In order to receive CE credit for attending one of our approved CE courses, you must do all of the following:
- Properly register for classes in advance of class attendance. If you do not register in advance, you may not receive CE credit.
- Be on time and present for ALL course instruction hours from the beginning of the class and stay to the every end of the class. For virtual classes via remote video, your video camera must be on and you must appear on video at all times (except for designated breaks) to prove your class attendance.
- Our school uses the Zoom video-conferencing platform. You should register for a Zoom account in advance of register of our virtual CE courses.
- Virtual classes via remote video is a privilege GREC granted the Georgia real estate licensee community. Please be respectful to follow virtual class rules and conduct yourself accordingly.
- You must be stationary and visible to the instructor as if you were in a physical classroom. You must conduct yourself respectfully and accordingly as if you were in a physical classroom. You cannot attend or receive credit if you are driving, exercising, working at a job, cooking, or otherwise occupied with other activities.
- Because you must appear on video at all times (except for designated breaks), you must be appropriately clothed for the benefit of your fellow classmates. Please be respectful to students by not allowing barking dogs, loud people, ringing cell phones, and other distractions that interfere with the virtual classroom experience.
- Sign the attendance roster/sign-in sheet prior to the start of the class and sign-out at the end of the class. In the case of a virtual class via remote video, you will be asked to electronically sign in at the beginning of the class, during class, and prior to the of class. To receive CE credit, the information you must provide during CE class is your name (as it appears on your license), license number, and current email address.
- You should not have taken this course for education credit within the past 366 days if you want credit for the current class.
- Return from all designated breaks on-time.
- There are no “make-up sessions” in any of our live classes. If you are late attending class or coming back from break, you are still welcome to attend the remainder of the class but you will not receive CE credit for that session.
- Be respectful and courteous to fellow students, instructors, and staff at all times during breaks and during class.
- Cell phones and other electronic devices can be distracting. As a courtesy to others, all devices must be turned “off” or placed on “silent” mode. Cell phones may not be on “Vibrate” mode because phone vibrations are still audible to fellow students.
- Finally, absolutely no recruiting for employment for any real estate brokerage firm is allowed in this classroom or on the school premises from: one-hour prior to start of class, during class, to one-hour after class. Promptly report any recruiting effort by anyone to the Course Instructor or School Director (Matthew Chan, 470-222-5565, [email protected]).
